What is involved? In today's hectic society, we find ourselves on "life's treadmill". We think success is happiness. We think financial success will bring us happiness. It becomes a vicious cycle. We earn more, we spend more, so we need to earn more to stay ahead of the curve. This is not healthy.Life Coaches help clients asses where they are today. This is usually the first step in any of the programs offered. Once a Life Appraisal is completed, the client and the coach look for balance in the clients life.Balance is the key to happiness. For some people increasing their income is the answer, others it is spending less. For others it is rearranging their schedules to find more quality time for themselves or to spend with their families.Depending on the program you purchase, the coach and the client will work to help improve the clients life. The goal to Life Coaching is not teaching the client new skills, it is to help the client institute those newly learned skills.A Master Life Coach is well qualified to teach some very interesting and important life skills that are not taught in school or at work. These are not about getting rich quick or loosing weight overnight. These are concepts that you will need to think about and do some real soul searching. Sometimes the results will be uncomfortable. You do not have to be anyone, prove anything, achieve anything or acquire anything. What you really need is to know where you are with your inner self. Once you study the "real you", everything else will fall into place. As a Master Life Coach I expect my clients to come to our sessions prepared to make a change that will change everything. Why purchase a program unless you really are ready for change and only you can determine if you are ready for change.During the course you will have weekly assignments, as you start to really examine your life you will find out you can accomplish anything. A client is expected to finish these assignments. If a client does not do the exercise, they will not get the full benefit of the program. Sometimes one exercise that does not seem relevant is the stepping stone for the next exercise. When the program is finished, the client should see a big change in their life and others should notice the change in you as well. You should be a much healthier person, both in mind, body and spirit. One technique in Life Coaching is teaching the client about journaling. This is a key to living a balanced life. This is probably the single most important exercise during the program. If you have specific questions about what is involved in The Coaching Process, please feel free to e mail Jeff@MasterLifeCoach.com
